made beside the seaside

Fashion label Out of Xile is designed and made on the Kent coast, and perhaps unsurprisingly the colours and textures of the local landscape are reflected in the collection .  Shot a week ago on location in the meadows and beaches of the brand’s home.

Chatsworth Training Day for Britain’s Best

My first visit to the glorious Chatsworth House in Derbyshire to teach a child portrait workshop for Britain’s Best Photography.  Huge thanks to my lovely models for the day – Ellie, Robert, Millie and Olivia.  Stunning grounds, astonishingly good weather and a bunch of wonderfully enthusiastic photographers who humoured me as I refused to quit until I found orange poppies…..

ellie

Now and again I run reluctantly and very slowly in Alexandra Park.  But last Saturday I was there photographing the adorable Ellie, which was SO much more fun, but unfortunately burnt less calories.

on the road again

Last night I was invited to see the talented Katie Melua perform at Hammersmith Apollo.  I first worked with Katie about 6 years ago on a European tour, memorable in many ways, not least because BA lost my suitcase on my flight out.  I was only reunited with it on my return to London so did the entire job in the clothes I was standing in….ouch.  Despite the not inconsiderable trauma incurred, I have fond memories of the trip and, from the archive, here are some film images shot from behind the scenes.
